Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive procedure that exfoliates the top layer of your skin. It can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or pitted skin. Dermaplaning also removes the vellus fine hair (commonly known as peach fuzz) to reveal brighter, smoother skin. This treatment results in ultra-smooth, fresh, and brighter skin by removing the dead skin cells and fine hair from the face.
Victoria Wells, our experienced clinic nurse, will be carrying out dermaplaning treatments. You can book in on line with her here. Treatment takes approximately 30 minutes and costs £55. Upgrade and combine with a mini hydrafacial for an extra £20

DERMAPLANING FAQs
Does dermaplaning hurt?
No, skin is held taut by your therapist and you will feel a mild “scraping” of the skin, some clients find this relaxing! The only discomfort you may feel is the therapist applying a small amount of pressure to hold the skin taut.
Are there any side effects?
There is no downtime with this treatment.
You may have some redness for 2-3 hours after the treatment, but this will subside if the recommended aftercare is followed.
How often can I have a treatment?
Treatments are recommended every 3-4 weeks.
You can combine this treatment with a mini hydrafacial for an extra £20.
Will my hair grow back stronger/thicker?
No, the very fine vellus hairs will eventually grow back exactly how they were. This applies to hormonal (lip/chin) hair. It does not grow back thicker or more frequently.
