Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, uses ultrafine needles to create micro-injuries, stimulating collagen and elastin production for natural skin rejuvenation.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment in which ultrafine needles are used to create micro-injuries to the skins surface without causing collateral damage. This stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin to support the natural healing process. The treatment is sometimes referred to as collagen induction therapy as it is known for boosting collagen.
You can book in online for Microneedling here. The procedure requires approximately 45 minutes and a topical numbing cream can be applied to the skin for 30 minutes pre-treatment. It is not unusual for redness to occur post treatment and can last for a few days post treatment also. A consultation is required prior to microneedling.

What is PRP treatment?
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma Treatment) is also known as the Vampire Facial. This is the process of introducing platelets back into your skin. Platelets within your blood are responsible for binding together when they recognise damaged skin cells.
PRP is used in combination with microneedling. The day of treatment involves taking your blood and spinning it in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the red cells. This is then introduced back into your skin using the microneedling technique.
