Skin Care Products Delivered to Your Home
Can you believe that we’re fast heading towards 2020’s halfway point? Scary but true! At least the second half of the year should be better than the first! There is light at the end of the tunnel.
I hope my latest blog finds you and your families well.
First of all, a big ‘thank you’ to the many of you who have been in touch since I announced temporary closure on 23rd March. I sincerely appreciate your good wishes. Plus, hearing from someone outside of the family adds normality to the situation in which we have all found ourselves… which is, well, far from normal.
The NHS
The Nursing and Midwifery Council contacted nurses such as myself and asked us to register to work at our local hospital. I did this straightaway. So far, I have not been needed, which is fantastic news as it means the pandemic is not overwhelming the NHS locally. I remain in “stand-by” mode should things change.
Skin Care Home Delivery
For those of you who buy your skin care products from me, this service is still available by post. I’ve sent out many Profhilo Haenkenium® creams already, so please get in touch if you’re running low.
I can also arrange for Obagi®, Tropic® and Neostrata® skin care products to be delivered direct to your door from the supplier during lockdown.

A Request
My plan is to very much keep my business open long term, whilst acknowledging the financial impact this crisis is having on all of us. A small business like mine can only survive with a strong online presence, and Facebook Reviews hugely increase the chance of new clients finding out about Skin Deep Clinic from a Facebook search.

What Next?
I wish I was able to give you a firm plan today – at time of writing – but, as lockdown rules have not changed, re-opening the clinic is not yet possible. I’m making plans for when I do re-open that respect social distancing, including gaps between appointments (to avoid use of the waiting area) and using anti-viral and anti-bacterial spray before and after every procedure.
Once the pandemic shows signs of easing and lockdown restrictions are relaxed, I will be in touch via email and social media with firmer plans. Naturally, I will let you all know as soon as I switch on my online booking system again.
In the meanwhile, I will keep you updated, and hope that you stay well.
