Skin Deep Clinic specialises in treatments for a range of skin conditions, which over time can cause people to lose confidence. We also sell a skin care range called ZO Skin Health, which has won industry awards many years running.
ACNE
Acne is a common skin condition that can seriously affect people’s lives, causing physiological and psychological scars. Treatments can include hydrafacials and / or ZO skin care products. Please be aware that Skin Deep Clinic only treats acne sufferers over the age of 18.
ACNE SCARRING
Acne scarring can be a constant reminder for acne sufferers, leading many to resort to using thick make-up to disguise the marks. However, more long-term solutions are available such as treatment with laser and light based therapies using our Harmony XL Pro device. HydraFacials and/or ZO skincare are other treatment options available. These types of treatments are an effective solution, but the best options will be decided after a thorough skin consultation.
AGEING SKIN
Ageing skin is a natural process, but can be exacerbated by environmental factors. Skin naturally appears more sunken with age as the body stops producing collagen and elastin, which give skin that bouncy appearance. Environmental factors that contribute to ageing skin are sun damage from UV rays, gravity, diet, alcohol, smoking and sun-bed use.
These factors affect the appearance of the skin and cause it to sag and become dry, leaving lines and deeper wrinkles. There are a variety of treatments that can help with ageing skin such as Dermal Fillers, Wrinkle relaxing treatments, laser and light based therapies with our Harmony XL Pro, Profhilo® , Profhlio Stuctura, and ZO skin care suited to ageing skin.
AGE SPOTS
Age spots, which are sometimes known as liver or sun spots, are pigmentations that form from exposure to the sun. Sun burn should always be prevented by wearing the correct SPF suitable for your skin type all year round. We have a range of options from ZO Skin Health.
These blemishes differ in colour from light to dark and can appear anywhere on the skin that has frequently been exposed to sun while unprotected. They are therefore most noticeable on the face, hands or chest. Any concerns can be addressed with our Map My Mole service.

LINES & WRINKLES
Lines and wrinkles are a natural sign of ageing. Unfortunately, there is no way to avoid them. Dynamic wrinkles are caused when our muscles consistently form facial expressions. Our muscles contract when we smile and frown, which over time causes skin to wrinkle in the contracted areas.
Common lines include crow’s feet and frown lines as these are the most prominent areas where muscles are contracted during expressions. When we are young, our muscles are able to spring back into shape, but as we age the dynamic lines remain visible; forming static lines and wrinkles.
Collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are responsible for maintaining the structure and volume of our skin when we are young. However, as we age the skin stops producing these substances, resulting in a loss of volume and the forming of static lines. Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments are a popular treatment choice for smoothing out wrinkles and prominent lines such as crow’s feet and frown lines.
ROSACEA
Facial redness or rosacea is an inflammatory skin condition, which is most commonly visible on the cheeks, forehead and nose. This can cause the face to appear flushed and feel warm and itchy. Small white and yellow pustules can be seen on the skin’s surface which can make the skin appear thickened.
ZO Skin care products or Laser and Light Based Therapies with our Harmony XL Pro device can help effectively treat roseacea. Sun damaged skin presents itself as Hyperpigmentation – a discolouration of the skin. The dangers of sun exposure are well known and it is extremely important to protect your skin with an SPF that is suitable for your skin type. We have a range of SPF products available in the ZO skincare range.
However, sun damaged skin can likely build up in bodily areas that are often exposed. This uneven skin discolouration can vary from small sun spots to bigger blemishes.
